Expansion Joints

Expansion Joints

JEH-B rubber expansion joints, flexible connectors and vibration isolators, all in one. When equipment is isolated from vibration with flexible insulators, the pipes that connect them must also be flexibly insulated.

These joints meet the ASHRAE specification of the book Applications cap 47 fig 43 “Flexible Pipe Connectors”.

These joints offer seven types of movement for HVAC equipment: Axial compression, axial elongation, lateral or transverse movement, angular movement, vibration, twisting and simultaneous movement, this is achieved by its excellent construction that includes synthetic rubber (neoprene, nitrile, natural rubber, use depends ) with the reinforcement of fibers such as nylon.

This construction gives it an extraordinary capacity to absorb vibrations and noise, withstanding the pressure of 150 PSIG of work.
